Chile, Italy, people, EyePrefer Paris interview…

Where to start? First, I wrote a short story about timing. Why at some moments of one’s life are we more receptive to what happens around us? For example, when I left for Chile to write my report on the huasos (Chilean cowboys) for National Geographic, everything came together wonderfully. Why? I do not have the answer, but I keep telling myself one must always be ready to discover and receive what comes our way so as not to miss great moments when they happen. Then, I wanted to pay a tribute to the people one meets while traveling. These are strangers, but they could be(come) friends. On the pictures, you can see Marijn from the Hideout Resort in Wyoming (www.thehideout.com), Justin, the fly-fisherman at the Paws up Resort in Montana (www.pawsup.com), Kevin of the Ridgewood Lodge (www.ridgewoodlodge.com), in Alaska, Rod Perry who is a champion sled dog races, also inAlaska (www.rodperry.com), the pretty waitress in a Homer restaurant… They all made my trips unforgetable (as a matter of fact, they all figure on the blog as well as links towards all these destinations – all fantastic).

My husband and I also spent a weekend in Italy, in the Padoue region, with friends who own a magnificent family house. It can be visited, rented, products from the farm bought… All the links are in my story. It was the occasion to show a different facet of Italy and in Autumn.
