Cela fait un moment que j’ai envie de vous parler d’amis qui font des choses formidables dans différents coins du monde. Des gens positifs, créatifs, inspirants, qui ont transformé leurs vies en une matière forte et productive. Nous avons été des étrangers à Paris ensemble, maintenant ils vivent dans d’autres pays, mais leur énergie est toujours la même. Si vous allez à Seattle, Vancouver, Los Angeles ou Rio, passez les voir. Vous serez heureux d’avoir partagé une partie de leurs vies.
A SEATTLE – Allez dans le restaurant de nos amis Wassef et Racha Haroun « Mamnoom »
Racha et Wassef sont syriens, ils ne peuvent pas retourner dans leur pays, alors ils l’ont recréé là où ils vivent maintenant, avec tendresse, joie, élégance, et toute leur générosité. Allez y et voyez vous mêmes. En plus, Seattle est une ville étonnante, la nature autour est fantastique … Ce serait dommage de ne pas vivre tout ça.
A VANCOUVER – Susan Oubari – Energy coach. Susan est une source de vie. Elle habite maintenant à Vancouver (encore une ville qu’il faut connaître – comme toute la splendide Colombie Britannique) et aide les autres à trouver leur énergie. A LOS ANGELES – Soula Saad est une « vieille » amie. Elle est libanaise, réalisatrice, scénariste. Elle a créé l’association de cinéma DreamAgo, réalisé un documentaire sur son pays qui a reçu de nombreuses récompenses. Son nouveau projet parlera de femmes dans le monde entier – projet auquel elle m’a aimablement associée. Contactez-là si vous aimez le cinéma, la création, les gens passionnés qui parlent bien de ce qu’ils aiment.
A RIO DE JANEIRO – Catherine Garcia, une autre chère et « vieille » amie et son Association Sorriso no Morro (sourire dans la favela). Catherine est franco-brésilienne, elle aide à l’éducation des enfants des favelas dans son quartier du Leme depuis 19 ans. Une crèche gratuite, des activités, un vrai programme pédagogique, une équipe de 8 personnes qualifiées pour presque 70 enfants… Cathy est une fille formidable. For some time now l have wanted to tell you about friends who do the most fantastic things in many different parts of the world. People who are confident, creative, inspiring, who have transformed their lives to become strong and productive. We all met as foreigners, in Paris, many years ago. Now they live in different countries but their energy is changeless. If you go to Seattle, Vancouver, or Rio, drop in to see them. You will feel enriched to have shared some part of their lives.

Racha and Wassef are syrian. They cant go back to their country so they have recreated it where they live now, with tenderness, joy, elegance, and their great generosity. Just go and see… Also, Seattle is a surprising city, surrounded by fantastic scenery, and it would be a pity to miss all that.

She is now installed in Vancouver (another city well worth knowing, like all of magnificent British Colombia) and helps others to find a more fulfilling life. At RIO DE JANEIRO – Another longtime friend, Catherine Garcia and her association Sorriso no Morro (A smile in the favela). Catherine is franco-brazilian. For nineteen years now she has helped to educate children of the favelas in her district of Leme. A free nursery, various activities, a solid pedagogical program, a team of eight qualified people, for nearly seventy children… Cathy is a really a fantastic woman.
